thank god i went looking and found this. That is exactly where i met this person who was going to sweep my off my feet when he got back to the states. But needed me to western uion him some money because he was having bank problems. LOL
Yes.You are right!I get this number too on my phone when i get calls from India.The landline Number from India gets displayed clearly but when someone is trying to reach you on your cell this is the number that you see on your cell phone.But there are some times when i did get a different number displayed.Strange but makes you wonder why!I too verified some of my calls and found out the same.Thanks for clearing it up.
I also have received a call from this number, 9734383624. it was the the middle call of someone calling me 10 consecutive times from a honduras area code.
10:24 am received call on my biz phone -- Indian accent man, asked if my address was...I cut him off and told him I was not gong to answer such questions and hung up. Immediately received another call same man who said he was from a shipping co. I asked what company, he gave me different name than was displayed on my caller ID. Told him would not reply to any questions. He said he had a shipment for me. When asked what it was and to give me more specifics he said it did not show and wanted to know "what you do". Told him he should know what I do if he has documents or a shipment for me. I then asked him to give me HIS phone number and I would call HIM back, he said no and promptly hung up. Very suspicious. These creeps should be stopped as they are obviously up to no good. The trick to get rid of them is to ask for THEIR name & Phone number and you see how quickly they get off phone! !
