It was a call from Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield welcoming me. My husband and I just had our health plan go into effect on the 1st. Legit for me.

I didn't answer this call to my cell phone because I didn't recognize the number.

Not a scam . An inside number for Horizon BC/BS of NJ. They called for additional follow up info for a claim on file.

A caller from this number left a voice.  She claimed to be a nurse from Blue Cross Blue Shield and stated her name as Eileen Collins.  She asked me to call her back at a direct line (973-466-4876).  I couldn't think of a reason for this call, so I called BCBS directly to verify whether this is a BCBS number - they said it definitely is not.
