They called for an interview, number doesn't reach back to them. Said Mr. Lee would interview me immediately (TODAY), looked this up and decided not to go. Shady scammers!
I got a call today from Julia (732-281-7789) and was told she came across my resume on monster and would like to schedule me for an interview. Since they are located in New Jersy and my current place of employment is locating to Brooklyn, NY (which i do not want to commute to) I decided to go for it. Julia informed me that I would be contacting union members regarding their insurance claims and obtaining/providing them information regarding such claims assisting them with scheduling doctors appoints. I set up the interview for tomorrow however Julia told me she just moved into her house and was working from home and did not have access to a computer to send me location information and time of interview and that she would TEXT it to me. When I got off work from my current job I googled the address and came across all these comments posted here. Needless to say i will not be going on the interview and will continue my job search.
Ok guys, same thing happened to me: I received a call from someone who replied to the resume I sent for a manager position in financial services. They did not give me any info about the company only the address: 414 Eagle Rock Ave Suite 101 West Orange NJ. I then looked it up and found this site as well as reviews on indeed.com and glassdoor.com. After reading all the bad reviews, I was about to cancel my interview but decided to go through with it mainly out of curiosity and figured I could leave the info here. The company is American Insurance Life. They are hiring a benefit sales rep position that they claim can make about $60,000 a year. You have to pay $199 to take a class at their offices to get your insurance sales license. You also need to have a laptop and a car as you would be going to people's houses to sell them insurance. If they were upfront about what the job really is and that you need to pay $199 to begin that would be one thing. The worst thing about my experience is the bait and switch, the lies the company tells. They advertise a manager position with $60,000 compensation but are really looking for a sales person that has to meet a sales quota and are really shady about giving information. Hopefully my waste of time will help someone else. Good Luck!! :D
I just received the same call... said I applied went back into my apply history they were no where to be found... looked up name n google and is an insurance company based out of TX.
Received a phone call from a woman named Anada 201-350-7024. Said she received my resume on Craigslist which I looked in my history of sent mail and had not sent an email to her post but I did remember send out for a Management position via Craigslist so I didn't think much of it. She gave me an interview for next week which I think was a little weird but figured they must be interviewing a lot of people. I called her back to ask for a website or business name and the number was a cell phone. I found that weird and decided to google the address and here I am reading everyone's post about wasting their time. Smh
