I answered because they used a local number. I knew right away that the call wasn't legitimate because the man used a name I only use with telemarketers. In his Indian accent, he said their records said I had diabetes and asked if that was correct, When I asked him where he got medical records on me, he hung up. Probably a scam to get medicare (social security) numbers.
Telemarketer for diabetic supplies company; wanted to "verify information before sending diabetic testing equipment". I told him that I wasn't diabetic and that I was also on the do-not-call list. He avoided 3 requests to speak to his supervisor; when a supervisor got on the line he tried to interrupt me and I explained that he called my number and he was not interrupt while I spoke. He hung up on me.
Called 3 times in a matter of 30 minutes! Didn't answer any of the calls but decided to look the number up and found your post! I instantly add it to the blocked list on my cell phone! Thank You for such useful information! Greatly Appreciated!
