They called my number. I didn't answer. I live in Ottawa, Ontario. By punching the number into google, I found out that they have some racket to pretend that you have won a trip to the carribean or someting. Probably a scam. Somebody should call the cops before they get to a senile senior citizen.
i just got a call and i am in Saskatchewan... it's cold and Cancun sounds nice but it's a scam... i do not give this number out so i am guessing it's an auto dialer.
I received a call from 979-446-0366,and decided to screen it.
There was only what sounded like "half" a message left, very cheesy voice yelling "push one to claim this prize!"...then again, "push one to claim this prize!",followed by a hang up.
I have emailed the address mentioned above, keeping my fingers crossed that it works...for now Im a screener.
they are calling here in vancouver too. highly professional scam artists. at least a team of 4 people on the phone, very good acting. [***]...[***] these crooks!
by the way i played along with them, so i can confirm they are scam artists, not telemarketers. i promptly told'em off once they asked for my credit card number. do not waste 15 mins of blabber reaching this point. also, report them too
