Who called from 9795550179

Yes, multiple scam phone center.   spoofs the area code then uses 555-0157, 0179, 0130, 0176, and likely others.

Same thing happened to me... called from 979-555-0179 ...then called again from 727-555-0157 spam spam spam

Same with me , they sell for < groupe ENAIRBEC> from Longueil  with a possibility of subvention. they ask for my heating cost , how do i heat , my income …..  The next day i had a business card on my door and a phone call from  
groupe  ENAIRBEC from Longueil QC

Caller ID said "Texas" under the number.  The caller spoke English with maybe a middle-Eastern accent of some sort.  When I asked why he was calling from Texas he said he wasn't, that he was in Bakersfield, CA.  He wanted to give me his number so I could call him back.  He said he was from Microsoft Windows and that my computer had downloaded "some numbers."

I told him that I knew he was a scammer.  After that he didn't hang up for a while; just kept saying "yes?" like he wanted me to either say more or hang up.  After half a minute he finally hung up the phone.

Just received a call from this number.  Caller ID just showed the number and "Texas".  Did not answer and no message left on answering system.
