Stated they were from Centurylink and were going to lower our phone bill. Tried to get names and numbers from me and kept trying to transfer me to other numbers. They all gave fake American names and spoke with Indian accents. Caller IDs for both numbers were 828-555-0166 and 979-555-0179. One stated "TEXAS," the other stated "NORTH CAROLINA." The call back number they gave is also not American at 1-800-745-4245. Caller stated I had to lie and only answer yes when transferred to "regional manager." When I directly asked him about it being a scam, he replied that they were only giving us a discount, we were on a recorded line, and that he would lose his job if I hung up. Okay then, goodbye.
