i applied for a loan online and the next day i got a call from a loan officer named alex rodriguez, he said i was approved for up to 10,000 so i said i only needed 1500 and he keeps insisting to get the money in my account i need to first buy a greendot moneypak and load 140 on it to show that i can make the monthly payments, but now he wants me to buy a vanilla reload pack and load the same amount and call him with the numbers so he cn see that i put the 4 on it, he says he works for us cash advance, he has a very strong accent maybe Australian, and its not funny at all i really need the $, is this a scam?? he calls me quite often and has called my work now, has anyone else had this happen?
I recived a gmail from Wells Fargo ,(well now i know better) The person said he was Patric Revera a loan officer well i took the bait bought a greendotreload for 88.00 i talked to someone saying they were a rep for greendot so i gave him the number off the back.(he called me his number matched the number from the back of the greendot card) so i gave him the number from under the scratch area,about 25 min later i recived a call from Patric telling me they could not wire the money id have to pay an additional 95.00 so this sucker did .Again the rep from greendot called and i gave him the number again Patric tryed it again but said this time it was the IRS i told him no more money .Stupid twice not again
Well the SCAMMERS are still at it. Just got off the phone with a guy named Sam about an hour ago. He called from a TX number
(512)8008611. He told me because of my low credit score that I needed to go to CVS and load $175 on a vanilla reload voucher so that the bank that does the lending can see that I have the money to make the monthly payments. I told him it would be a couple of days before I could do it. So glad I did some investigating first!!!!! BEWARE if they hardly speak English ( hate to say this but...) then it's probably a SCAM!!!!!
