Hmmm...got a call from some automated recording claiming that IRS is planning to file suit against me...when i did a lookup the number was a cell phone from lorado texas?? lol !!
This is a SCAM!!!! The IRS will never contact you by phone! They will always send certified mail. Do not give them any info. Matter of fact, don't answer and block this number!
This is BS! same as all comments above. Had a fright to me being a business owner and keeping everything on track. They need to go back to there own country and leave all the legit us citizens the Hello alone. Its nothing but a scam with no exact questions answered once directed towards documentation and notices. The thing that got me is that ("If I hung up the phone it would be an arrest from the local and or state police with in 20 min. still waiting after 3 hrs.") What the Hello.
Report the Calls to the real IRS here:
•report the incident to the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration at 800-366-4484.
•You can also file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission at FTC.gov. Add "IRS Telephone Scam" to the comments in your complaint.

Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.
Don't be SCAMMED. DON'T give them information. I got a call from this number saying the IRS was going to sue me. I called back twice finally got someone. They didn't have name right and it sounded like they had an Indian accent and kept saying how come you number is under a different name. I told them that I did not believe they were the IRS at that she hung up. Total Scam as I suspected. That needs to be shut down.
