Stated they were calling about Microsoft Windows and "my computer." The caller sounded like this is a call center located out of the us. When I asked what specifically are they inquiring about regarding "my computer" he did not answer and fumbled. I then said - I only have a phone and tablet and hung up. Not sure where this is going except perhaps a phishing call.
Calls frequently, last night 4 times within a 1/2 hour span. Stated my windows 8 computer was sending error reports to microsoft! Told the man with the heavy accent that I did not have a windows 8 computer and hung up. Next a heavily accented woman called, stating the same thing and I played along and told her to wait a minute while I get someone who could help her with my computer, she got flustered and told me she could help me ~ put her on mute! Then the man called back again, stating we have an infected computer, laughed hung up. 4th time didn't answer, but caller ID should up as 000-000-0000, but the first number was 979-764-2811 with College Stat TX. Can't this people be stopped, the calls came after 9 PM!
