10:40 pm last night, a different number the night before, same area code as well as the night before. How do we make the calls stop? I am registered on the national do not call registry and have blocked all of these numbers now.
Caller claimed to be calling from 'Windows' and claimed my computer was hacked. When I asked her to repeat who she worked for she said 'Windows' not Microsoft. I hung up.
Called at 10:30 PM I was asleep so I picked it up automatically and it was an Asian woman saying don't hang up it's very important info re. your computer. I hung up.
Far from thrilled to have been woken up at 11:00pm from this woman claiming to be from Windows, stating it was an important computer issue. While I'm happy it wasn't the type of emergency I would have expected from a call at that time, what company seriously thinks anyone is going to be receptive to what they're selling at that time of night?!?
caller ID states Reece ,DDS Michael....was an foreign speaking person. Why would a dentist call and tell me my computer/windows was hacked. I smell SCAM somewhere !
