I got this call after renewing my pain meds for chronic condition. First started trying to sell me cream then asked for information so they can refill my Rx. I hung up. This is a scam just ignore the call.
Similar to Jessica on 4/9/2015. It was a robo call asking me to press 1 to discuss my topical pain medication. I pressed 1 because just a couple hours prior, a doctor wrote a Percocet prescription for me after a sleepless night with a painful illness. She started talking to me about needing to switch to some cream as an alternative. I said that I'll just stay with the Percocet, but she made it sound like I needed to go through her to get it filled, like she was with the hospital or something. I asked her why that would be after I already had a signed piece of paper from an MD, and she started feeding me some line about how pain pills can hurt my liver. I wasn't in any state to get to the bottom of it any more, so I told her that this all sounded very fishy and then handed the phone over to my wife. She came to the same conclusion I did and started giving her the business, ultimately deciding to hang up. It was very eerie since I had just had this prescription written. I could see people falling for this, especially if it's like my situation where I was in no condition to make sound decisions. I talked it over with the ER the next day, and they agreed. I'm going to report this to the police.
