I received two call today from 989-754-2307. They insisted I had a problem with my computer. Since I have five computers that I use I asked witch one. This prompted the caller to start over with the same dialog. I immediately hung up.
Both callers had accents that sounded like Indian heritage. I'm betting that the number is a pass thru number from out of country.
A man called from "Windows" and wanted to connect to my computer. He couldn't answer any of my questions. I told him that I wanted to verify that his number was actually associated with Windows before I gave him any information and if it turned out that it wasn't, that I was going to give it to the FBI. He hung up on me.
numerous calls from this number - I don't pick up and no message left
I'm getting an increasing number of these types of calls - If I block the number, they just show up with new numbers! really annoying!!!!!
A man with an accent from India said that he was from "Windows" and that they have been getting a lot of error messages from my computer. I told him I don't use Windows. He hung up. Obviously a scam/phishing.
Just received a phone call, I said hello twice and then got recorded message that said "goodbye" and then call disconnected, tried to call number back and it was disconnected %$#@ em
