Received this call along with several others today , most hang up when answer machine picks up. This one and anther with a different number had the same garbled voice mail about calling back.
Received a call from them today. When I called them back they asked me if I knew how much I owed the IRS. I said I owe them nothing. The foreign gentlemen on the other line said "go f#ck yourself, goodbye". We figured it was a scam and got a good laugh out of it!
I've been getting these calls daily. Tried to call back several times. Finally got a real person today who of course couldn't speak good English. Let him go thru his whole speech. Played with him for quite some time. Then I finally told him I knew it was a scam, that the IRS sends letters. He told me they would be coming to arrest me and it would cost me $35,000 but I only had to pay them $6000 for the $3000 I owed. He just wouldn't hang up no matter what I said. Finally I told him I didn't understand so could he put someone on the phone who spoke better English. Nope when thru his speech again. Asked again. Finally on the third time he hung up on me. Cant block the number without paying the phone company so think I'll just keep calling them daily just for fun.
