Who called from 2024591993

Called the 202-459-1993 number that left an automated message on my machine. Total scam. I called them back a few times just to help them understand that they need to stop spamming people.

I have received several recorded calls from this number, threatening suit by the "IRS" or the "Internal Revenue Services"
The plural "Services" is a dead giveaway. The most recent call today referred to earlier calls. I have not called back.

I received this call from a Texas number and now a DC area code, same message "(___cut off) your account please call us immediately blah blah)

blocked both numbers.

If you google "IRS debt scam" a notice from the actual agency comes up describing the scam.

Just received a call from this number. I called back knowing I didn't owe anything to the IRS.  They are clearly a scam. No matter what do not call back!  All I gave them was my name and hopefully they can't do anything with that.
