How do you know for sure this number is originating out of India? I suspect that it is an oversea company by the hors they are calling even though the phone number is registered Conn. I am on a 'do not call list' and want to know what one can do to stop them? Any ideas?
I have received 5 phone calls from this number in less than 48 hours. Not one of the calls has been at what you would call a respectable hours: 4AM, 7:10AM. 1AM, 6:20AM, and 7AM. Each time I have waited to hear a voice on the telephone and as soon as they say hello I have told the caller I do not under any circumstances what to hear what they have to say. I also informed 'him' that I am on a do not call list. Apparently none of this helps! Because they are calling during normal sleeping hours I automatically answer the phone without looking thinking that it is a family emergency. What can one do to stop them? I know the phone number is registered in Conn., however I suspect it is an oversea company as the English is poor and because of the hours they are calling.
