Reward Redemptions calling to claim I signed up with a website. Did not answer the call but called them from another number to reach a recorded message from them.
I just received a phone call to my cell phone from this number. A little investigating turned up this information:
Phone number: 203-306-0906 is located in Milford, Connecticut.
Its exchange 306 is managed by MCI METRO ATS, INC. - CT.
The number is currently on switch number HRFRCTASDS0 (switch is a technical specification for phone hobbyists) .
The number has a total of 1 complaints filed against it.
How they got my cell phone number is a mystery, I did not answer it, and they did not leave a message.
I got a call from that number too. I did not answer it, and they left no message. They likely got the cell phone numbers because cell phone number lists have now gone public. I hate that!
Cell phone numbers have NOT gone public. That is an urban legend. You can confirm that on snopes.com
Many of these telemarketing companies use automatic dialers and therefore all numbers are called at random.
