They are still calling.....I think randomly....although I too ordered something from Amazon within the past two days....Is there a connection? I did not pick up their call because I was on the cell talking to someone else......
I place orders with Amazon several times a week. They don't ever call me.
You are engaging in what behavioral psychology refers to as superstition. It frequently shows up in animal behavor experiments. The experimenter randomly dispenses a reward to a pigeon when the pigeon pecks at a target. The pigeon happens to turn in a circle, tap the target, and get a reward. Pretty soon, you have a pigeon turning in circles every time they peck the target because they mistakenly believe it will bring on the reward.
People here do the same thing. They get a junk text or phone call. They think back over what they have done recently that might have brought on this "negative reward". The next thing you know, they are on here posting that Best Buy, Walmart, Target, or Amazon is in some way involved in the calls. They're wrong, but superstition is a powerful behavioral phenomena, and some folks are very hard to persuade.
I'm glad that you understand that there is no connection, and aren't one of those hard to persuade posters.
Is your phone number between (000) 000-0000 and (999) 999-9999? It is, isn't it? Criminals, high speed internet, & voip are calling you. Overseas' scammers pick an area code, & dial away. Since they can make millions of calls a day - they will get you. Americans' love a good conspiracy, but Amazon isn't calling you.
