Yes I did this and it works great!!!! Who needs the Do Not Call List. Wal Mart has the Panasonic phone that can block 250 numbers and came with 2 additional cordless phones for under $100.00. You have to it order on-line. You have to program it so it doesn't ring on the first ring to ID the phone number that is calling you. And no more annoying/unwanted phone calls!!!!
Just got this one today. I pressed "1" and spoke to a live peron. I asked "how did you receive my phone number" she that they received it thru some other marketing company, I told her to take me off their list and give me the name of the marketing company. She hung up. They also told me they were a security company.
This people has been calling my home and my daughter's cell phone, who is only 13, late at night to say 4:00 AM and there is a live person who is hearing the message while we are leaving the MSG but doesn't answer. Starts by pre-recorded call FBI reports that there is break- in every 30 mins and allow us place a small sign in fro t of your house....scam artists who might rob you if you give them consent
