Got the same call three days in a row. Same Card Member Services as Mel described. I pressed "1" to talk to someone with the intent of talking to someone to have my number removed from their calling list, as I have requested every time they have called in the past. When I got someone on the phone they asked if I was interested in lowering my credit card rates and I told them, "No, I want to speak to your supervisor." The person said "Ok, thank you" and hung up.
I get this call every day. I answered the call 2 days ago and said I have had 4 last calls will you take me off your list. I got hung up on. I still get the calls every day. They are not getting my credit card number, I do not want their service or SCAM. When or what do I have to do to make them stop.
I'd happily file a suit against them once we have enough information. Until then, posting on every board available to warn against their scam is what we need to do. It is SO tempting to press 1 and tell them not to call again, but DON'T DO IT!!! It won't stop the calls - most likely it will get worse - and confrontation is what they want. Most likely a "semi-legitimate" company is behind these calls, and their identity will be revealed soon. They can run, but they can't hide forever.
Getting calls from this number offering debt consolidtion . I am on the do not call list . I ask to be taken off but they hang up. They call about once a week. I want them to stop.
keep getting calls from this number saying they have tried to contact me several times and this would be the last time that they will be calling and would cancel my credit cards, when tried calling them back mail box is always full and unable to contact anyone.
