Got a prerecorded call from this number with an accented voice telling me that I was under investigation for fraud by the IRS and to call a certain number to discuss this at a certain time in my local area code. Call was on a Saturday which seemed odd.
Funny thing I received the SAME EXACT call & everything he told u-he told me also-but when I called back the guy on the other end started screaming at me in a foreign language, so told him I was going to report him. What an idiot!!! Lol
The same exact thing happened to me. The grumbled voice called me twice yesterday and left one message telling me (funny because they didn't address who the call was for) that an investigation is going on and they are checking into my taxes. Ha ha! The guys name was Don bla bla or something and told me to call him back at (206) 201-2091 between 9 and4 at my standard time..tthen just got a call from (206)708-2849 just now. I should of answered FBI can I help you. This guy needs to be stopped. With all the technology today wouldn't you think he would be locked up. Ugh!
Mr. Ross called at 11:30 today and left garbled message on my machine (he had two hang ups before that) stating that I was being investigated by the IRS crime unit. Where can we report this dude so he can be investigated by the federal govt for impersonating a federal agent? This is infuriating!
