Got a voicemail last night guy by the name Agent Ross saying I was under investigation and to call between 9am to 4pm. I always search number and check, I know my taxes are fine.
Let me give you all a cross reference here. This number was an IRS Robot call. It was very difficult to hear and understand.The voice was a male foreign accent claiming to be from the IRS with all the information and threat others have stated.The other call I got the same day was from a women with no foreign accent. Look at number 206 462 5330. They work together. Scarred the hell out of my wife. This is too serious not to be reported.
Had a call from 206-201-2091 on my message machine. Man with a foreign accent said he was from the IRS and that my name was going to be put on a list for tax evasion and that I needed to return the call. I did not call back. I screen my calls and do not answer if I don't know the caller. The IRS will never call you! Don't be fooled buy this scam!!
Go the same call as everyone else - garbled message, man with foreign accent, accusing of tax evasion, need to immediately call back at 206-201-2091, etc. Ignoring it!
At first a little confused cause I filed my taxes, and got a REFUND! But after reading the previous posts, I am LMBO! Bwahahahahah. With a THICK accent this is what he said:
"Hi, This is Officer Dan Ross calling you from the crime investigation unit with internal revenue service. The reason we have tried to reach you this morning that i wish to inform you about a law suit which is about to about to get filed against your name for tax evasion. Right now you and your physical actions are under investigation. Please reach us back on our on our straight land numbers which is 206-201-2091. Again the number to is 206-201-2091. Do not disregard this message and please call us back between the hours of operations from 9 to 4 at your own standard time. Thank you"
