Been recieving these calls consistently over the past week. The people ask for my boss and when I say he isn't in, they hurridly claim they are returning his call but then fail to leave a phone. I pulled the number from our caller ID - is read "SMS".
If they are really legitimate and returning a call, I need more info. Otherwise, I have to default to them being telemarketers.
Recieved a call from this number, caller was slow to respond to questions, ie name and company calling from and nature of call. Acted irritated when asked. Identified himself as Van Philips and name of company GPS.
Some guy called from SMS, asked how the appoint with his associate had gone. The woman had come to the office said one of her office people had set up an appointment with me, I advised it was not true and I did not have any interest in "their so called business management", and that I would certainly not do business with someone who set up phony appointments. I told the guy to take us off his list, as we are not interested, the then continue to harass me even after I told him he was wasting my time. I then threated to turn them in to the authories and hung up
They keep calling and calling. When I asked to removed from their calling list the response was: "What's wrong with you [***]" Street ghetto, black dialect.
rec'd multiple calls from this ph# over a weeks time- female caller asking for the owner. Asking when owner would be in ( asked for him by name) offered voice mail and on multiple occasions transfer call to vm, but she hangs up right away and never leaves a message. I got caller ID ph# 206-201-2900 and called the ph #. A male answered the phone and said "client services" I stated I had the wrong ph# and hung up.
Just received a call, tried the smooth talking "friendly" salesman approach. After trying to start a report with me, he said he worked with a "Construction development firm based out of Oregon but just opened an office in Seattle." I work for a construction company in Seattle, how convenient. He asked to speak with our chairman and I asked what it was regarding. He seemed surprised and restated that his firm was a construction development from Oregon. I said "That's nice, but what is this regarding?" He hung up.
