Received call as Private Caller no phone number. Did disclose that they were Microsoft tech support. Scammer Indian guy ok English but that accent makes difficult. Tried to access comp but I was insistent what company he said Techno Life would not give website info out of Seattle WA. Did get into they were filthy little thieves with a few added cursing he mimicked my comments. Said he was going to call family members too asked for number to call and he gave my number back. Did search for Techno Life found this number http://800notes.com/Phone.aspx/1-206-203-5477/2 Also, a Facebook page for computer support under Techno Life Pleasure, Seattle WA. Search also shows associated to PC Assist 247.
Received another call this time showing CID of 2088 and no CNUM number. Familiar Microsoft tech support pitch from Hindi / Pakistani accented male Alex but more western speaking (English bery bery gud). Change in pitch to how someone was trying to hack my IP address. They don't do well when asked questions but did disclose out of Seattle WA and finally hung up. So I did a search with what info I had and was led to here, funny huh! technolife co, called re: my computer in danger from malware. told that microsoft authorized him to call and help me!!
I googled the co. name while on the line & all comments were "SCAM". "caution it's a scam". ect. told this to the caller who proceeded to yell very loud that I am big liar and I was trying to RUIN HIS COMPANY. please everyone don't give anyone that calls on the phone any of your information. you don't know them and can't trust them.
This guy calls stating his name is Alex from Tech Dept from Microsoft .. gave me his return phone # 206-203-5477 .. states he is located in NY .. and my computer has been talking to his gateway ..
Not sure if this guy is giving 206-203-5477 a bad name or not but last time I checked 206 area code appears to be in WA? So anyway I stated I am not using Microsoft, he seemed to have lost his voice after that relevation and he hung up .. sad .. NOT
