Called twice today while I was out. Left a recorded message that was partially cut off (they do this on purpose) - about all I heard was "case file". I blocked the number bc I knew it was scumbags. Then I came here to verify it! ;o) Even if I was home I wouldn't have answered it as I never answer numbers I don't know. Most scammers don't bother leaving a message and if they do, I wasn't born yesterday. I know about every scam that's out there!
These non-Americans are threatening my 90 year old mother. Who has not had to pay taxes for a few years. She is afraid. How do we get these non-people?
Unless you xan locate them in their country and get their law enforcement to cooperate, forget it.
Call Blocker
You need to buy a standalone call blocker, call blocking phone, use your carrier’s call blocker if they offer one, or download a free call blocking app for smart phones. For conventional cell phones, assign the number a letter like “z” and make no ring. You may also need to have your carrier increase the ring time to avoid having them leave a message on your voice mail.
