I received the call on my answering machine claiming to be from the IRS and that it was a final notice that they would be filing a lawsuit against me. they said for information on the case to call 2068665717, but did not provide a case # or name of contact. I knew it was a scam since we have a paid accountant that handles all our tax dealings, as well as the fact that the IRS never calls people, they only send through the mail. the call came in on the # 9315633621 Caller ID said out of Tullahoma TN. Do not call the number back and do not provide any of your personal information on it as it's clearly a scam.
I got this call twice! I ignored it both times. I knew it was a scam because they didn't mention my name in the message that was left and the IRS would not make a call, they would send a letter. Do not call this number back!
This group of scamers just doesn't give up!!....Over the summer the called Many times!!...Just got another call today 12/12/14...at 12:30 pm.They are so Stupid,The # registered on my caller ID was (714) 201-6226....Anaheim Ca...which the #is not a working #....But they ask you to call back on (206)866-5717..Which happens to be a Washington state #....Do Not give them any info...They are finding info through the internet....then praying on the people that will fall for there scam!!What Scum these guys are !!
