I received the call on my answering machine claiming to be from the IRS and that it was a final notice that they would be filing a lawsuit against me. they said for information on the case to call 2068665717, but did not provide a case # or name of contact. I knew it was a scam since we have a paid accountant that handles all our tax dealings, as well as the fact that the IRS never calls people, they only send through the mail. the call came in on the # 9315633621 Caller ID said out of Tullahoma TN. Do not call the number back and do not provide any of your personal information on it as it's clearly a scam.
I went on vacation and came back to 5 voice mails from the IRS, called back this number and was threatened to go to jail if I did not pay agent James who will be at my house tomorrow to collect the cash, I called the police and they told me no crime has been committed and would not assist in any way other than take info for their records.

206-866-5717 - the message from them says the IRS is filing a lawsuit against me, and to call back about it immediately. As I see on he internet, many people have had this scam call as well.....
received a call form 254-301-5730, which was a cell call from Texas. said they were the irs and had been trying to reach me, and that the irs was filing a law suit against me and for more information on the case to call 206-866 5751. I called the 206 number and the person was not available. It rang a long time. When there was no answer i decided to check the number out on the internet and found out that it was a scam.
We received the same phone call with a message left on the answering machine. My husband was frantic. Something about the Final notice, contact the IRS. Just remember all interaction with the IRS is in writing so don't be fooled.
I got a call from this number today too! Actually it came from 710-201-1266 and left a very distorted message to call this number. Don't really worry..I do my taxes honestly every year!
