Call on home phone 6:25 p.m. June 9th - not picked up, as it seemed like a curious number, from caller ID. Did not leave a message. How to block this???
Called and wanted my credit card #. Its a scam. Last week it was the Marriage thing and are you registered to vote in NY. The week before it was the car warranty thing. The week before that it was Comcast. I am on a do not call list. THE FBI needs to get involved. I am writing Chuck Shummer in NY,
I just got a call from this number (1-305-000-4656) and I let the answering machine pick it up...they left no message, so I called them, but I got a recorded message that advised me to check the number as this one is out of service!? Sounds like scammers. I too am on the "no call list".
After a rep came on the line and my wife asked them which card company they were with they hung up. Sounds like a phishing expedition that could be costly.
I have been getting these calls for the past 2 years, 1st there were "Unknown" #'s then the #'s started to pop up....they used to be ligit phone #'s , not these 000 numbres, I reported every single one that was a correct #...but I guess they got caught and changed their number. It says Florida on my Caller ID. and everytime I have talked to someone they either hang up or rude and cuss at me, calling me a whole bunch of indecent names...I actually got one person to say they would take my number off, but that didn't happen. I cant put a call restriction on them because of the 000 prefix. I am also on the DNC list, but it doesn't do any good. Just dont answer them anymore.
