My phone rang. Caller Id said Florida call. Phone number: 305-000-4829.
Commuter generated message saying my credit card account was OK, I need to call immediately if I wanted to take advantage of having my credit card rates lower or press #9 to talk to a representative. Which I did. A fellow came on the line stating he was from Card Services and told me that Experian Credit reporting company gave them my phone number because I qualified for this lower credit rate rededuction. I asked which card they were referring to and he said any or all of them that I had a current balance on. Knowing full-well that I was not about to give them any card numbers or any other information. These people are very persistent and cunning. Reports of their activity should be sent to the FCC as well as your state consumer office.
I have received many messages and calls which I never return, and today I decided to answer and push to talk to someone. When I told her I wasn't pleased
and asked for the name of the company woman hung up on me.
I got a call from this number, I immediately told the guy that I had already requested that the company remove me from their list, and that I was on the "no call list", he then began asking me "how old are you?" "you sound cute" "wanna go on a date", I stated I wanted to speak to his supervisor, whereafter, he prentended to get someone else on the line, slightly changing his voice, continuing to be inappropriate. I just hung up and placed a complaint with the FCC.
If you have a credit card with the company these idiots are working for ~ they can call you. Today is the day of changes for credit card companies, so they are going to be telemarketing everyone they can. My big gripe came when my bank started selling insurance ~ and the calls began. This is the way companies get around "do not call lists".
