I recieved a call from this number a few minutes ago. I had received one about a week before and connected to the operater who asked me what my issue was with my card. I told them my issue was that I didnt have a credit card so I want my number removed. They called again today. I told them this is the 2nd time theyve called, and the man told me to have a good day and quickly hung up.
Just received a call from this number. I decided to select the 9 option to see what it was about. I asked specifically who they were and what card was they referring to? They couldn't provide any answers. Then she said for me to call my credit card company and ask for the "Retention Dept." and to ask for a six month review to lower my rate. I called my lender and they do it automatically every month. Just report all the details you can at https://complaints.donotcall.gov. I used *57 to have my Telco run a trace. The local Telco then relays the info to the appropriate authority.
*** UPDATE *** I just tried again to report this phone # on the link that I stated above (https://complaints.donotcall.gov). It DOES NOT recognize the phone # and will not let you continue. So, here is the way to "REPORT" it! You can call and successfully report the issue to this toll-free number - 888-382-1222. This process "DOES" work.
