I received a call from 305-000-9534 July 2nd at 3:02 PM and I pressed 9 to tell these people not to call again and when the rude African American accented woman asked "Are you calling about the offer to lower your rates?" I said yes but, and she rudely interrupted before I could continue with "Yes, but but but what? Don't press nine if you're not interested!" and hung up.
This call came from Alabama to Kansas at 11:52 hours on 7-2-09. Call not answered and no message left. Posters on other sites advise that this is the ol' better credit card rate scam.
This was an automated offer to 'call now to lower your credit card rate'. They imply they're the issuer of one of your credit cards.
When I asked to be removed the telemarketer was rude, referring to me by name and refusing to remove my name. This is the 2nd time this has happened.
