I received a call from 305-000-9534 July 2nd at 3:02 PM and I pressed 9 to tell these people not to call again and when the rude African American accented woman asked "Are you calling about the offer to lower your rates?" I said yes but, and she rudely interrupted before I could continue with "Yes, but but but what? Don't press nine if you're not interested!" and hung up.
This call came from Alabama to Kansas at 11:52 hours on 7-2-09. Call not answered and no message left. Posters on other sites advise that this is the ol' better credit card rate scam.
SAME AS ABOVE THEY CALLED US THEN WHEN WE PUSH 9 THEY WERE RUDE BECAUSE WE ASK TO MANY ? SO THEY HUNG UP. THEY CALLED BACK WITHIN A MIN. AND I PUSHED 9 TO TELL THE NOT TO CALL AGAIN AND WHEN I TRIED TO TELL THE MAN TO PUT US ON THE NO CALL LIST HE SAID NO NO NO AND HUNG UP ON ME.
A person called me from 13050009534 and told me her name was nicole Smith.
Did I want to lower my interest rate. She asked me to confirm my phone # (which they clearly already had) and when I asked what the last 4 digits of the credit card were, they hung up. Clearly a scam.
