Person stated that they were from Microsoft, telling me one of my computers generated a lot of errors due to insufficient anti-virus software. They were going to lead me through updating my system. Just to see where this was headed, I was going to go along.

The phone line died on me after 5 mins, while I was still booting my Windows XP machine. Either they switched to mute their end of the line, or their phone system crashed.
