YES, I JUST RECEIVED THEIR CALL ABOUT SOME LOAN DEPOSITED INTO MY ACCOUNT. TUESDAY I'LL BE ARRESTED AND TAKEN TO COURT. IN ORDER TO SETTLE OUT OF COURT, I WILL HAVE TO RUSH TO A WALMART AND WIRE THEM THE MONEY. WHAT KIND OF BS IS THAT?. SOME SCAM, I WISH THEY STOP CALLING ME. I'M SO BROKE IS NOT FUNNY!!!
These people are crazy, told me that since my husband and i share an email account that they are going to arrest my husband on tuesday and he is going to lose his job because we share an account and that they are going to make sure we lose our house, his job and everything else. When i called them back the lady shouted at me and told me not to call back, this was after i told her that i googled their number and know that they are nothing but fraud. Joe Austin from and they didnt say what law firm, they just left that blank and then they started sending threats.
Today (Friday) at 6:49pm, I answered my cell phone and it was a man with a thick Indian accent telling me he is an account representative calling to inform me that there is a lawsuit against me by American Payday for a loan deposited into my Wells Fargo account last month and that when they tried to collect the payment back I had insuffient funds & that they sent numerous emails about it but they probably got deleted from my spam folder and they are not responsible for me not checking my spam folder. I told him I never had a payday loan with American Payday and then he said that "American Payday" represents MANY lenders, including the one I used last month. (I got really scared because I did apply and I did get 2 payday loans in February but not by this company)
When I asked for the case number, why I was never served papers and law firm's physical address he said there is no case number just a reference number and transferred me to Attorney Steven McDonald (another thick Indian accent) and Steven said he worked for Wilson & Morgan Law Firm based in Florida and that they contacted the state Attorney in SC that issued a warrant for my arrest earlier today to be served at exactly 11:00AM tomorrow (Saturday) for 3 counts of fraud & that I will spend 3 days in jail since it's the weekend. He said that after I get out of jail my balance will increase another $5000 due to court fees.
So then I asked why they called me on a Friday evening to tell me that and he said so that I will not be suprised when they put the handcuffs on me tomorrow. So I said I guess this is just a courtesy call then??? He said yes, it is and then nothing else. So I hung up the phone. I then called back and a girl answered with an Indian accent and put me on hold for like 5 minutes so I hung up. When I did that I got 3 more calls back to back from the same number and 2 more from numbers that aren't real phone numbers like 0113055074787. I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message.
I am grateful for this website. I had to take excedrin for the headache I got and I am still a bit nervous. If I go to jail, I will not survive.
Don't worry about it. My fiance got the same call but from Steven himself. He told my fiance, Cody, the same thing. I am going with him to work tomorrow and if the cops show up I'm going with him and I will demand that we speak with an attorney. But to stay on the safe side we contacted the FBI and CIA. Contacted the supposed prosecuting loan company and they told us that they have no account with Cody. And contacted the local PD. CIA said that there wasn't much they could do, but the FBI is on it as well as the PD. They are based out of Florida, but more specifically Miami, FL. The number to Steven is 305-407-9781. I'm assuming that the woman is either a sister or wife. The number is a mobile number. When they told you that you had loans in February was the same thing they told Cody. A loan company in fact can not take someone to court or put them in jail for not paying a loan, but in fact what most companies do is try to work something out with the customer inorder to pay it off. It is a complete scam. And he will be dealt with severely. He said he wanted to hear from our attorney. Oh he'll hear from them alright. That and a military JAG officer as my fiance is military. We are going to have a blast with this one.
Nothing is going to happen. Keep posting on here on what happens and I can use it in my court case. The more complains that I can gather the stronger the prosecution on this man will be.
