An obvious "boiler room operation" with lots of background noise from other operators doing the same scam phone calls. The woman had foreign accent and said she was from Ohio Edison (I have electric from another company). I only answered to verify that it was a scam and then blocked the number so that they can't call back.
I just got a call from this number, it's just some scammers pretending to be AEP. If they call you don't tell them anything. Your power company isn't going to call you for anything other than to report a power outage.
Male caller, barely speaks English, claims to be from Ohio Edison choices department. I screened him, he hung up when he discovered it was answering machine.
