The last two weeks I have spent trying to stay connected to this guy becuase I thought he was local and buying my couches, turns out hes lives on the other side of the US and gave me the same information. Very precise info on how to write out the money orders and what not. My Fiance and I thought it was fishy that he'd pay 1800 dollars to ship two crap 50 dollars worth couches soi googled his email address and found this! Thank god!! thisis the information he used on me his email address: [email protected] and phone number:  1580-540-7359. his email said something like this:

Hello,

Payment for the Couch (Money Order) has been sent to you and will be delivered today. As soon as you receive the package, I would like you to follow the payment process accordingly so we can schedule a pick-up over the weekend.

===HOW TO FILL THE MONEY ORDER===

The Money Order has 2 sections

The 1st section {writes pay to}.....in this space you are to fill in your full names and address.

The 2nd section {writes from}.....in this space you are to fill in my name and address:

Name: Eduardo Moreno

Addy: 1901 N Walnut Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73105

The package contains 2 pieces of $950 M/O. After filling the M/O's carefully, you take them to your bank and get them cashed. You then deduct the exact amount for your Couch, plus $50 inconvenience/transportation fee, you then go to the closest Western Union outlet to you and send the remaining funds to the Driver/Mover via Western Union who would be coming to your location or public place for the pick up of the Couch after receiving the funds.

In summary, you deduct the amount for your Couch + $50 + Western Union charges and send the rest to the Driver. Here are the details of the Driver/Mover who you will be sending the funds to:

This man "Mr Eddy" also tried to send me a cashiers check with extra funds for some delivery truck driver for a couch that i was selling on craiglist. my boyfriend said it sounded fishy and i looked the phone number up on google and this site came up! thank goodness! what a [***]. waste of my time!

wow, I can't believe I almost fell for this guy. Thankfully all of you have posted about him. I too, almost sold him something over Craigslist. His e-mails were overly formal about money order protocol, so I thought it was wise to check out the phone number he gave me. He doesn't cover his tracks very well, fortunately. He seems to have a lot of e-mail addresses, and calls himself "Mr Eddy."

"Mr. Eddy" Tried to buy a sofa from me on CraigsList. Just got his money order today, with a note inside the envelope saying to check my email. Email is as follows

"Hello,

I got your email with the details to where the payment for the sofa/set would be sent to via UPS. Consider it sold by removing the ad from the classified site. You'll be receiving the M/O within the next 36 hours. I will be sending your payment along with the picker's payment So all you have to do is to cash the Money orders at your Bank, deduct the funds for the bed, then send the remaining funds to the person who will be coming for the pickup of the bed. I hope i can trust that you will send the shippers funds in due time so He can come for the pickup as soon as he receives the payment from you. Will be giving you a call as soon as ups is about to deliver the funds to you. Thanks
