1) This is a message board for discussing spam and scam phone calls. We are not calling you. We never claimed to be able to stop the calls for you. You will not be able to sue this message board or anyone on it.
2) Verizon is a phone company. They are not calling you. They are not responsible for the calls. They are required by law to let all or nearly all phone calls through. You can't win a suit against them, either.
3) The people who are harassing you are criminals. To sue them you have to find them. Many of the criminal scammers reported on this message board are calling from 3rd-World countries where scamming dumb Americans is not a crime and the local police do not cooperate with police in the US.
You will not be able to serve them with the legally-required paperwork before filing a suit. They will not appear in court for a suit or pay a judgement.
Lawyers in the US know all 3 points above and will work for you only if you pay a large up-front fee.

Got the call from this #, ID said it was from VA. I didn't answer but called back 40 minutes later and message said " this is Verizon the #you called is not in use or has been disconnected ".
I have gotten calls from this number. I have not answered lately. However, I tried to call back and there was a recording saying that "this Verizon wireless number has either been changed or disconnected."
This caller is abusing the Verizon network by employing a tactic called "spoofing". I have contacted Verizon support twice and they are without doubt absolutely useless. They apparently cannot track the number, or retrieve any data regarding the number whatsoever.
