2) Verizon is a phone company. They are not calling you. They are not responsible for the calls. They are required by law to let all or nearly all phone calls through. You can't win a suit against them, either.
3) The people who are harassing you are criminals. To sue them you have to find them. Many of the criminal scammers reported on this message board are calling from 3rd-World countries where scamming dumb Americans is not a crime and the local police do not cooperate with police in the US.
You will not be able to serve them with the legally-required paperwork before filing a suit. They will not appear in court for a suit or pay a judgement.
Lawyers in the US know all 3 points above and will work for you only if you pay a large up-front fee.
Get a call blocker. Its faster, cheaper, and will work.
I'm getting a lawyer as none of you ever stop the harassing calls. I will get ur name info and sue for harassing call in small claims its worth it they more I sue the less I work. Thanks Verizon I may never need to work again. God bless America

Received a call, but let it go to voicemail. The message was that of an accented voiced saying "Hello?", while in the background you could hear dozens (hundreds?) of other calls occurring. This is most likely an overseas call center. I've blocked them.
