Gave a name and said he was from the American Veterans Support organization wanted donations-my husband then hung up and blocked the number. I googled the organization-totally different phone number and location and has also been cited in questionable practices.
Caller phoned my work number @ 3:27 pm ET. Caller said his name was Barry calling with American Veterans seeking a contribution. At first I thought he, or it, was a computerized automated call - I'm not 100% positive it was a live person. I did request he remove the number from his call list since he was calling a business number and he said he would.
When I picked up the phone, there was no answer. I called back and he said he was with the Veterans to collect donations. I Did NOT believe him and informed him in the rudest way I know for him not to call back. Probably should have just called the FCC and reported it.
Have all the numbers you have listed carry the same name?..or do some just have the number. I am constantly amazed at how these idiots can get phone numbers in so many states and they sell drugs (or try to).Thank you for the list, I recognize some numbers...now I have even more to greet with my shrill whistle.
