Called me and wanted access to my computer so they could issue a $100 refund for a computer support service they say I paid for a last year. This is about the 10th call I have received for the same thing for different amounts and from different numbers. Claim to be from Microsoft and that my computer is messed up or wishing to give me a refund. Don't fall for it. The computer that they say had windows errors was running linux.
Same as above, but this guy went further. Told me to """" his """" and other foul stuff. Wanted to know if we were "friends". This is the lowest form of human being. I guess there are jerks everywhere.
I think I got the same guy, Tammy. In my case the guy told me he was from H-P, but like you, he wanted to allow him to gain control of my computer. Obviously a Virginia phone number, but he alleged himself to be in Manhattan. Got to be a scam.
Indian Scammer pretending to be from Apple Customer Services. He is associated to 1-888-593-8571 computer pop ups. Caller ID showed Rahul Gunwal as the caller. He wanted access to my computer claiming that there are trojan virus in it.
