Called me and wanted access to my computer so they could issue a $100 refund for a computer support service they say I paid for a last year. This is about the 10th call I have received for the same thing for different amounts and from different numbers. Claim to be from Microsoft and that my computer is messed up or wishing to give me a refund. Don't fall for it. The computer that they say had windows errors was running linux.
I just got called from this number first it came up on my screen suspicious activity on computer computer is locked up then I noticed the mouse was moving by itself and he asked for money to fix the computer that's when I unplugged everything didn't know what else to do

i had a very similar experience to anastasia. i just got a call from this number a few minutes ago but my caller *david miller* used 732-837-9166 & implied he was from microsoft or a microsoft contractor when i asked. the links i had on my key card to install office 365 weren't working. i think i wound up at a spoof site. that notepad document with his contact info was blank the next day. costco concierge services helped me with a system restore a few days prior to my contact with him. then an installation of malwarebytes. for no cost. to get rid of the crap he installed. now i'm disputing the charges with paypal & my CU & filed a police report. also watch out for 402-935-7733 which appears on the billing.
got a voice message on my computer and a note that said call 1 877 757 3062 and I stupidly did and then hung up and they called be back from the Virginia number 571 367 3089 and I hung up on them. This message came to me thru my computer and said if I didn't call my computer would be something awful I don't remember what.
