Called me and wanted access to my computer so they could issue a $100 refund for a computer support service they say I paid for a last year. This is about the 10th call I have received for the same thing for different amounts and from different numbers. Claim to be from Microsoft and that my computer is messed up or wishing to give me a refund. Don't fall for it. The computer that they say had windows errors was running linux.
a pop up came up on Microsoft edge on windows 10 stating malware is controlling my computer browser and my credit card and bank info is going all over the internet; identifying themselves as Microsoft security
Just got a call from this number. The caller from this line was a complete idiot. He repeated himself over and over again in a monotone voice. It was clear he was reading from a script. That and his English was terrible.
