Called me and wanted access to my computer so they could issue a $100 refund for a computer support service they say I paid for a last year. This is about the 10th call I have received for the same thing for different amounts and from different numbers. Claim to be from Microsoft and that my computer is messed up or wishing to give me a refund. Don't fall for it. The computer that they say had windows errors was running linux.

Called me and woke me up at 5 in the freaking morning. I thought it was a family member or friend in trouble only to check my phone and see an unknown number. Didn't answer and checked the number here. This number is now on my block list.
I received a call on Feb 9, 2017 at 10:39 PM, It showed 571-367-3089 and identified as Virginia. I did not answer it and there was no message. Thanks to the warnings on this page I will just block that number from now on
Like a fool I allowed this jerk access to my lptp and he listed a bunch of things he needed to fix for me. Told him I would think about it and now find out it's a scam. I feel like a damn fool & hope he didn't ruin my lptp. Just changed all my passwords.
