Received a call from this number just now. He said, he was calling from RCMP (Royal Canadian Mounted Police) and he is having warrant on me.
Please forward this to any concerned persons, to take action on them and avoid un necessary tension to public.
Call received this morning. Indian woman saying she was from the "CIC" -- I pushed her to answer who she was, what she wanted. Talked about there being a problem with my immigration status -- I have been a Canadian citizen most of my life! I told her I'd call the police -- she hung up.
I got call today at about 12.30PM first he called my landline and ask for me and the person at home given my cell no, one guy called and referring that he was calling from the lawers office calling on behalf immigration canada as there was a case against me for not submitting some bill24 which was passed by the immigration and all the new immigrants who was a resident or citizen has to forward that since it was pass due and the immigration has issued a deportation and only to resolve that have 2 suggestions 1 to appear with a lawyer which will cost thousands of money or to settle now with $1800 immediately. When I said have no money at the moment but if you give me the contact no I could called back, then the guy who has a Indian accent said that I have to keep this as a secret not to tell anyone, then I hang up the phone as I realized that it was scam. Called again then I gave the phone to a male friend the he hang up.

I got a call from this number - caller was a male with an Indian accent. He claimed that he was an Immigration Canada officer and that they had received a complaint about me with regards to my Canadian citizenship, and he claimed that the offense was pursuant to Bill C24. He kept putting me on hold to "talk to his manager". I am divorced, but my married name is Lebanese in origin and when I told him that I was born and raised in Canada, he backed off and then wanted to know about my ex-husband. I feel that this was some sort of scam, perhaps telling me that I had to pay to make the so-called immigration problem go away. Eventually he told me that there would be no further action on this complaint. Since I'm a white woman whose family has been in Canada for generations, I was confident that there was no problem with my citizenship, but, I can so totally understand a naturalized Canadian or immigration applicant falling for this scam.
Received a call from this number. Person with a heavy Indian accent said: I am calling to let you know that the RCMP is investigating you. Me: Bull [***]!! END OF CALL.
I received a call this morning from a man with South Asian accent telling that there is an arrest warrant against me from RCMP. When I told him to give his details he said his name was Simon Wilson (seems to be false name) and he is from immigration department. When asked his more info such as office address, he hung up. Obviously its a fraud caller and wanted to blackmail me. So please be aware of this type of call.
