Being on a do not call list means nothing at all. Just a make work project. They call robotically, which I thought was banned here years ago. They can't do anything if they are calling from another country. Most of these people are, and just use a Canadian number. They called my cellphone, I just add each spam number to my rejected list.
Caller said I'm Henry from the monitoring centre. I said who's Henry. I don't anybody by the name of Henry who works at a monitoring centre. He became flustered when I kept saying I didn't know him and why he would bother to call me. He hung up and said have a nice night.
8:45 pm. Just had a call from this number asking for the homeowner. Said he was from some alarm company but couldn't understand what he was saying, even after I asked him to repeat it. He kept saying, "you already have an alarm system. Right,". I told him it was none of his business if I did or didn't. He repeated it acouple of times and I kept repeating it was none of his business. Finally I asked him if he was trying to sell something and he said yes. I told him I'm not interested and hung up. So annoying. Why would I confirm to a stranger if I had an alarm system or not.
