I am sick of these foreigners calling my cell phone and house phone. I make a note of every idiot that calls and I then give them to Verizon and believe it or not they stop calling.why don't they scam call their own people in the country they come from...oh I forgot they don't have phones!
You're lucky; these same scammer morons actually left the following "message" on my voicemail when I ignored picking up the Caller I.D. Not Available: "Hello. [noise of other heavily accented voices in the background all talking at once]...Hello?...more background noise of jabbering]...Hello?..." hangup click. I want to know specifically which of our government departments are getting kickbacks from NOT enforcing the DoNotCall Registries [aside from all the politicians & others who of course are "EXEMPT" from the law.
By picking up the phone and saying anything, you just confirmed to the scammers that your phone number is an active/valid one, so you'll indeed be hearing from them again -- & every one of the other scammers they sell your number to. Forever. Thank you [NOT], all those DoNotCall Registry Scammers. And all those who circumvent the laws.
