You made your recruiters lie to people!!! Now these people think that the recruiters who were calling them are horrible people!! They dont know that you put your recruiters jobs on the line and intimidate them into reading off scripts. BE STRAIGHTFORWARD!!! if someone wants to sell insurance they will. Also the stupid fake response is not winning anyone over!
"I worked for National Income Life from December 2009 to February 2010 part time, as I had a full time job. I sold one policy in 2009. that's it, nothing more. Last week I got a 1099 from them for my taxes showing that I earned $8000 in 2010 in the 2 months i was there. i am fighting this and am contacting the IRS on Monday to do a full investigation on this company. I did not earn any money from them inn 2010. Yes this company is a HUGE scam."
Just one of the many complaints that people had about this company. If these testimonies aren't enough, check this out.

They were violating NY insurance law. Though the charges seem minimal, I doubt they have the gall to justify these actions. Also, this was back in 2002, so maybe things have changed over the 8 years. See, I'm not trying to bash them for being a scam. It's just: you'll probably end up losing money if you work for them.
My testimony is a simple one. The night before, I was up until 3, and what I thought was my alarm at 10 am was actually a call from some guy at 9 am. Needless to say, I was very agitated until he told me about the job. He told me the company name: National Income, and to be, that immediately sounded fishy. Then I asked him for verification: just a simple website with all the information I could find. He gave me 5 websites. -_-. Asked me if I had managerial experience. I said no. Then he said something along the lines of getting paid secondary income? Immediately asked me to go to an interview in Flushing. I asked him if it was commission based (which is what he meant by secondary income), and he said yes. Then I flipped a switch. I told him I'm not interested, and he began sounding desperate (I'm not even joking). It was as if he was on his knees begging me to come into the interview because you know what happens during those interviews. They ask money upfront. Don't believe me? Go to one of their interviews and pay the insurance class and administration fees. I want to see what that manager has to say about this. I have only a second-hand testimony and a court-ordered subpoena to back up that this company is violating laws. And that aint cool man.
I, just like everybody else here, got a call from a lady from National Income in their "human resources" department stating she came across my resume on Careerbuilder. I was at my desk at my job (yes currently employed) on a business call and missed the phone call on my mobile. I later heard the voicemail and funny because she stated that she has "an opportunity available that would be of great interest" to me and she was "ready to offer" it to you. I thought to myself: why does it seem like she's actually trying to sell me something? Lol. I don't know. It was just her aggressive, loud and unprofessional tone. I didn't call back and I won't be. I know better and did just this--> I researched them and found for myself how low these people are! Thank you all for sharing your stories.
after reading all this comments i'm definitely not showing to that job interview...a lady her name is kim called me to see me tomorrow for a management position in flushing queens....and my gut instinct told me that this was a total scam.....they shouldn't play with people the way that they are playing.....is just a waste of time....
