Someone who is not too smart and can't tell an answering machine message from an actual person is doing the marketing here--they said HELLO in somewhat accented English in a rather annoyed way. CALLER ID read NEW YORK with the number beneath.
Heavy accent..hard to understand....something about "energy" and "solar"....the only two words I could understand...like everyone, I'm so tired of these calls...what good is the 'do not call' list, when there are so many ways around it ?....can't imagine that all these calls qualify for being exempt from 'the rules'...
He has called various times -- I answered once --comments above about solar and energy and the foreign accent brought it back to my memory. I will look into buying a call blocker and end this. I've been on the do not call list since its inception and renewed as needed. If the origination site is overseas, they don't abide by any U.S.
restrictions. These bogus calls show my own name and number as if I'm calling myself at times...my local phone company seemed surprised about that. By pushing a number choice to remove your's only proves you are a "real" phone number and your's will be sold to other marketing calling services.
