Someone who is not too smart and can't tell an answering machine message from an actual person is doing the marketing here--they said HELLO in somewhat accented English in a rather annoyed way. CALLER ID read NEW YORK with the number beneath.
He introduced himself as "Daniel Smith," but his accent was very thick, and not very "Daniel Smith-ish." We didn't get much further than that, and I blocked the number.
Caller was heavy accented woman. Same thing about energy, she said they can save me money without switching companies, alright? I said 'Nope, you are a scammer' and she said 'you are a scam' and hung up. If it was legit I don't think she would have done that, ha.
