Got the same call for this number and knew something was fishy. So I told him my name was John Fuquett....listed to his entire story and acted concerned. I then had him write my name down to be sure I was the correct person.
F as in Frank....U as in uncle...C as in cat..K as in kite...Y, O, U.
It took a second or two for it to sink in but once he got it he went ballistic ... it was very amusing....
I got a call from these guys this morning. The real IRS mails people, they don't call them and threaten them with jail should you fail to listen to them. If you get a call from this number just ignore it. Report them if you receive a call from them.
